Educational Background

In 2004, he earned his Ph.D. in Law from the Department of Political Science, School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Tsinghua University, specializing in Marxist Theory and Ideological and Political Education.

In 2001, he obtained a Master of Management degree (with early doctoral program) in Education Economics and Management from the Institute of Education at Tsinghua University's School of Humanities and Social Sciences.

Work Experience

June 2024- Present, Vice Dean of the School of Marxism, Tsinghua University, tenured professor

In March 2023, he was appointed as the head of the Tsinghua University Working Group for the Integrated Development of Ideological and Political Education across Primary, Secondary, and Higher Education.

In December 2021, he was appointed as a tenured professor at the School of Marxism, Tsinghua University.

From 2017 to 2020, he served as a tenured associate professor at the School of Marxism, Tsinghua University, and led the National High-Quality Online Open Course Team.

From 2013 to 2017, he served as Deputy Director of the Propaganda Department of Tsinghua University's Party Committee (on secondment), Director of the Office for Campus Network Culture Development, and Associate Professor at the School of Marxism.

From 2010 to 2011, he was a visiting scholar at the University of California, Berkeley.
