From October 16 to 23, 2016, Professor Yves Sintomer—member of the Institut Universitaire de France (IUF), professor in the Department of Political Science at Paris 8 University, and an internationally renowned political sociologist—visited the School of Marxism under Tsinghua University’s “Short-Term Exchange and Cooperation Program for Distinguished Overseas Scholars.” This was Professor Sintomer’s fourth visit to the School since 2013. In addition to academic exchanges, his visit also led to preliminary agreements on collaborative initiatives between the Department of Political Science at Paris 8 University and the School of Marxism.
