Educational Background

He graduated from the Department of Philosophy at Peking University in 1968, and obtained his master's degree in the Department of Philosophy at Jilin University in 1982, majoring in the history of China philosophy.

Work Experience

Professor since January 1991

In 1992, he was awarded a special government allowance by the State Council.

In 1993, he was approved by the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council to become a doctoral supervisor in the fifth batch nationwide.

He served as a member of the Teaching Guidance Committee of the Ministry of Education, editor-in-chief of the Journal of Tsinghua University (Philosophy and Social Sciences Edition), and deputy director of the Department of Political Science at Tsinghua University.

Academic part-time position

Approved by the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, as the first chief expert of the Central Marxist Theory Research and Construction Project "History of China's Political Thought"
